Tempe, AZ – Tilted Kilt, the wildly successful costume-themed sports pub franchise, has experienced unprecedented success in the restaurant industry and is now seeking similar achievement in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. Beginning in 2011, Tilted Kilt is jumping into the ring of the UFC with the announcement of its MMA Tilted Kilt Fight Team. This is the first fight team of its kind in the industry and ready to knock the socks off the entire league and any competition in their way.

“The MMA/UFC realm is the perfect fit for us,” said Ron Lynch, president of Tilted Kilt. “A majority of our pubs already carry these televised events and we pack the house with every fight. Now we will be able to support these fighters so they can train full time without having to get another job to support their families. Our MMA Tilted Kilt Fight Team is going to crush the competition and we are going to be cheering them on at all of our Tilted Kilts across the nation.”

The impressive group of fighters on the MMA Tilted Kilt Fight Team includes;
• Undefeated Gray Maynard
• Undefeated Ryan Bader
• CB Dollaway
• Robbie Lawler
• Mike Pyle
• Aaron Simpson
• Eric Larkin
• Jay Hieron
• Michael Chandler

The first fighter on the team to don the Tilted Kilt fight gear will be Gray Maynard for his much anticipated UFC Lightweight Championship fight on January 1st, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The rest of the fighters will be sporting their Tilted Kilt gear for the popular televised fights throughout 2011.

Four special events will take place over the year at Tilted Kilt pubs where a UFC event is happening with the first taking place on March 3rd, 2011 in Louisville, KY. Fighters from the team will be making appearances, signing autographs and giving away signed merchandise as well as exclusive fight gear they wore for the fight the night before.

Whenever they are near a Tilted Kilt, members of the MMA Tilted Kilt Fight Team will be dropping in at Tilted Kilt locations around the United States. The best way to keep up with where they are is by following TiltedKiltMMA on Twitter, or visit, www.tiltedkiltmma.com.

Tilted Kilt will be holding monthly contests giving away fight gear that was used in the cage and other collectibles. All the fighters will be included in an exclusive deck of cards with Tilted Kilt on one side and their picture and stats on the other side for them to sign at any time.

“Our MMA Tilted Kilt Fight Team is not only the best group of fighters in the sport,” added Lynch, “they are also a great group of guys that share Titled Kilt’s American values and family ideals. It was important for us to not only find good fighters for the team but also the right kind of fighters that parents and kids alike can look up to and cheer to victory.”

Tilted Kilt is different than other sports bars because of its theme that combines Celtic d├ęcor, humorous limericks and sexy cast members with great food, drinks and fun. Currently with 44 open units, 20 under construction and 25 in development, the Tilted Kilt is known as “The Best Looking Sports Pub You’ve Ever Seen.” The original restaurant concept was developed in the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas in 2003.
